"The night sky, a quiet world, becomes active at once when imaged, displaying continuous change, staging a universal drama. Every little image on the film, containing information about countless celestial objects and their history, seems to literally jump at our eyes when enlarged in print or when displayed on the computer screen. The more we magnify an image, the more faint, distant worlds that come into view, stirring the imagination and making me wonder, full of curiosity and thirst for better and sharper images, about the worlds that lie there in the depths of space and time. Fortunately, there still remain very many worlds that I want to photograph."
